Webinar: Project presented to students in Finland
The IMPRODOVA project was presented to the students of Police University College on 24th of September. The audience of approximately 70 students was told about the field study and development of the tools. By sharing information and research experiences with the students we want to encourage them to open-mindedness and healthy skepticism in their future work. As we have learned in the IMPRODOVA project, many of the good practices on the field of DV work are based on the individuals’ courage to challenge the thinking “this is how we’ve always done it”, and to create networks and local strategies to effectively prevent domestic violence in cooperation with other professionals.
